Dan Clement
Founder & President

Dan has been a lifelong resident of the Brunswick area. Dan’s father was a skilled tradesman. He learned the field of construction first hand while working alongside his father as a teenager. He pursued his passion for carpentry at the Medina County Career Center graduating in 1984. Dan was employed for several years doing rough and finish carpentry and small remodels and renovations.

In 1989, he established his own construction business doing remodel jobs such as replacement windows, doors and kitchen/bath remodels. Clement Construction Inc. pursued the new home construction market doing both framing and finish work for multiple homebuilders all over Northeast, Ohio. Over the last several years the remodel division has continued to grow.

Dan lives by strong values and beliefs such as reliability, honesty and quality workmanship. These are qualities that he promotes in his company. In addition, he is active in his community and church. He has participated in projects such as Habitat for Humanity and the Salvation Army, Red Kettle Drive. Dan is an active member in the Brunswick Rotary and has served as president.

Dan has been married for twenty years to his wife Nadine, who is the Office Administrator at Clement Construction Inc. They have two daughters and one son. The Clements believe in strong family values and old fashion hard work.

	Ray Terhart: Ray has been working for Clement Construction Inc. for 18 years. He enjoys his job because he gets to work with his hands, and he likes seeing the finished product. He especially likes the satisfied looks in the eyes of the customers after a job is completed. He believes that working for Clement Construction Inc. is a step above just being a carpenter. It takes a skilled carpenter to be a finish carpenter at Clement Construction Inc. Ray likes to work with all types of wood from rough to finish. He is happily married with two boys and he loves animals. His hobbies include: sport fishing and skeet shooting. “When you love what you do for a living, your job is so much easier”-Ray
	Chris Dembowski: Chris has been working for Clement Construction Inc. for 15 years. He enjoys the satisfaction he feels when he sees a project thru from beginning to end. He also likes coming up with solutions to problems that arise in the field. He spends his free time with his children.
	Duff Tomlinson: Duff has been employed with Clement Construction Inc. for 13 years. He is detailed oriented and he likes to see a job through from start to finish. Duff likes being creative while working on a building site. He believes that the best part of the job is the sense of accomplishment he feels when a job is completed. During his free time, Duff plays hockey and likes to go Scuba Diving.
	Scott L. Bates: Scott has been happily employed with Clement Construction Inc. for 10 years. He likes the fact that Clement Construction Inc. is a close family owned company that truly cares about their employees, and they know you by name. He believes that workers at Clement Construction Inc. don’t get lost in the numbers like in some bigger places. Scott also likes that he can talk to his boss anytime day or night because his door is always open. Scott became a carpenter because he likes to work with his hands, and he likes being creative with wood working. He also likes the fact that he gets to travel all over for work and he’s glad that he’s not stuck in a shop or cubical for 8 hours a day. Scott has been married for 16 years and he has 2 children. His hobbies include: hunting, fishing and preparing smoked food.
	Jason Wellman: Jason has been working for Clement Construction Inc. for the past 10 years. He began his career by attending the Medina County Career Center for Carpentry, and he has loved the trade ever since then. He enjoys working with his hands on tasks and coming up with solutions to solve problems. Jason also likes the fact that he’s not in the same place all of the time. “I like the fact that I am building and working on someone’s dream project.” He takes a lot of pride in his work. During his free time he spends time with friends and family, and enjoys fishing, camping and 4-wheeling.
